Bill Walker, a North College Hill High School Star and NBA talent recently confirmed on the factual opinions podcast that Bob Huggins had a super team on the way to UC, had he not been ousted as Head Coach.

UC's new assistant basketball coach Tim Buckley is known best for recruiting an uncoveted talent named Dwayne Wade to Marquette. Buckley was on Tom Crean's staff for all nine seasons at Indiana and helped coach stars Victor Oladipo, Cody Zeller and Yogi Ferrell.

Cincinnati has entered the preseason Top 25 after securing a commitment from former top-five recruit and McDonald's All-American Dillon Mitchell, who transfers from Texas. Mitchell is a high-flying athlete who thrives in transition, finishing around the rim, rebounding, and defending. Mitchell averaged 9.6 points and 7.5 rebounds last year for the Longhorns

One Scholarship now remains for the UC Bearcats after they landed a commitment from 6'11 Freshman forward Arrinten Page out of the transfer portal. Page will have three years of eligibility remaining. He scored 3 ppg and grabbed 2 rebounds per game in his Freshman season.

6'3 combo guard Connor Hickman chose the Cincinnati Bearcats over his hometown Indiana Hoosiers. Last season with Bradley, Hickman averaged 14 ppg and shot 40% from three. He was a third-team Missouri Valley Conference selection.
Hickman will have one remaining year of eligibility and fills the Bearcats 11th scholarship. The Cats have two remaining scholarships, assuming CJ Fredrick is returning. He's yet to announce.
