Cincinnati was led by Viktor Lakhin's 17 points and Aziz Bandaogo's double-double. Jizzle James sparked a Cincinnati run in the second half with 12 points, but Day Day Thomas got the nod down the stretch despite a 0-7 game and seven turnovers. BYU shot just 13-46 from three despite Trevin Knell hitting nine deep ones.
